Here are some useful guidelines to keep in mind when attending any yoga class.

•    Consult your physician before beginning any exercise program
•    Arrive early or on time for class.  The instructor has the right to deny admittance to               latecomers
•    Be mindful or others and please wait until after the initial meditation to come in quietly         if you must be late
•    Inform the instructor at the start of class if you need to leave early
•    Tell the instructor if you are new to class or have any medical considerations including             injuries, pregnancy or special medications that might require exercise modifications
•    Follow the instructor’s practice.  You are welcome to modify the asanas, in an                         unobtrusive place in the back of the studio as needed and appropriate.
•    Choose a class level that is appropriate for you and stay within your own practice level             during any class.  Yoga classes vary in level and intensity.  Please check the schedule         for class levels.
•    Advise the instructor if you prefer no hands-on physical corrections and adjustments.
•    Focus on your breathing during class.  This will help your practice and calm your mind.
•    Practice good hygiene and arrive clean and free of scents that might distract or offend             others.
•    Turn your cell phone off or silent during class
•    Avoid eating prior to class.  (You will feel better if you do not have a full stomach)
•    Stay for savasana; it is an important component of class.
•    Return all equipment to its proper place at the end of class and leave the studio space         clean, organized and ready for the next class.
•    Be sure to attend the classes that you like regularly and become a part of their success
