You know, as a yogi, part of the "lifestyle" is a certain spartan aesthetic. Capitalist consumerism does not really support the kind of mental and physical spaciousness that we need in order to "get clear" about our lives. So, it is with a bit of reluctance that I participate in conventional capitalism. That said, I think that we are seeing the emergence of a whole new paradigm of capitalism, that when put to strategic use can improve our own lives, the lives of people around us, and those of people all over the world. So. Here I go.
Isotonix and Complete Greens
I'm stubborn. My mom said, "take your multivitamin" and I just wouldn't. Pills are not for me, but that aside, taking them produced daily nausea--not exactly what I had in mind with my "daily multi." Besides, I like to eat well, and if I do, couldn't I just get all of my daily nutritional requirements from the great food I ingest? When I attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, Dr. Mark Hyman changed my mind about this. He stated that because we have been abusing our soil for the past 100 years, our food supply is nutritionally deficient, and thus, eat well though you may, it is impossible to get proper nutrition. Indeed, industrial farming practices have spurned the wisdom of ages and abused to soil instead of carefully protecting the stuff that yields all life. Folly. So, what Dr. Hyman said really resonated with me. I've found a great solution--a drinkable vitamin. Made by Isotonix, you stir some powder with about four ounces of water, and kick it back first thing in the morning. Pleasant taste. No unpleasant side-effects. Hey! I can do this! And, the gold standard test--do I feel better? Yes, I do, if the measure is more or less migraines--less is that I've been having lately. I'll take that, thank you very much! Check it out--go to www.marketamerica.com/muses and search for Isotonix. Oh, and I mentioned Complete Greens. What Americans need more than anything in their diets are more leafy greens. I prefer to eat mine, but the same logic applies. So, might as well drink some too. You can find them at Market America too.
Here's to your health!
REDDYS PADs
Ladies, please, the time has come to unhook from the industrial complex of "feminine hygiene." Our natural reproductive functions are NOT dirty! They are sacred and cleaner than clean. That's life force you bleed away every month--very special stuff. And, who ever thought that putting a piece of bleached cotton up your *%## was a good idea, anyway? Um, the folks who make money from you buying tampons and pads every month for the rest of your childbearing years, that's who. Have you ever calculated how much money you spend annually on these products? Have you ever checked out what bleach does to your cellular tissue? O.K. you can probably tell where I'm coming from. Check out these: www.reddyspads.com.
