Elena Brower

Mama, teacher and author, Elena has studied with master teachers since 1997, and has been teaching yoga and meditation since 1999. Known for bringing a resonant, relevant voice that speaks directly to your heart, Elena teaches yoga and meditation in weekly classes in New York City, international retreats and trainings, and en masse classes. Elena's groundbreaking yoga workbook, Art of Attention, has been translated into 5 languages. Melissa A. Fabello

Melissa A. Fabello is a sexuality educator, eating disorder and body image activist, and media literacy vlogger based out of Philadelphia. She currently works as a Managing Editor of Everyday Feminism. Melissa holds a B.S. in English Education from Boston University and an M.Ed. in Human Sexuality from Widener University, where she is currently working on her PhD. Dianne Bondy

She is the creator and director  of Yoga for All 200/500 Yoga Alliance Teacher Training Program  and founder and Managing Director of Yogasteya – a virtual online yoga studio that supports yoga for all cultures, shapes, sizes and abilities.  The goal of Yogasteya is to empower its students through the practice of yoga.  She developed and continues to teach the Abundant Bodied Yoga Teacher and Yoga For All yoga teacher training programs, runs retreats and workshops internationally and is a active member of the Yoga & Body Image Coalition and is an ally of Beyond Duality Off the Mat, Into the World.

Jes Baker

Jes Baker is internationally recognized for her writing on her blog, The Militant Baker, the “Attractive and Fat” campaign, and her dedication to shifting social paradigms into a place where all people are offered the opportunity to love themselves just as they are. The "Attractive and Fat" campaign drew coverage from CNN, the Today Show, the BBC, and many other national and international media networks. Jes harnesses the power of vulnerability, honesty and candor through dialogue about living in a world where worth is determined by your dress size, diagnosis, and deference to authority.

Amy Bloom

Amy Bloom writes fiction, including the short story collections Come to Me (HarperCollins), a National Book Award finalist and A Blind Man Can See How Much I love You (Random House), a National Book Critics Circle award finalist and her two New York Times best-selling novels, Away and Lucky Us (both Random House). She is currently the Distinguished Writer in Residence at Wesleyan University.

Virgie Tovar

Virgie Tovar, MA is an author, activist and one of the nation's leading experts and lecturers on fat discrimination and body image. She is the editor of Hot & Heavy: Fierce Fat Girls on Life, Love and Fashion and the mastermind behind #LoseHateNotWeight. Alanna Kaivalya

Alanna Kaivalya is an author, scholar and yoga professional. She is the founder of The Kaivalya Yoga Method, Author of Myths of the Asanas and Sacred Sound: Discovering the Myth and Meaning Behind Mantra and Kirtan. She holds a masters degree in Mythological Studies with Emphasis in Depth Psychology, and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the same field. She uses her extensive expertise in myth and symbolism to feed her knowledge of astrology and tarot. A telesummit is a virtual educational event, where you can get information through lectures or interviews held over the phone or online. Easily accessed, when you want. You could listen in clad in your PJs!

O.K., So, when exactly is this telesummit happening?

NOW! When you share your email, you'll receive a link to access one, short (25-40 minute) interview daily. We'll email it to you. One a day. Like a multivitamin. You can listen to the interviews when it suits you.

And what exactly is the Adore Your Body Telesummit about?

The Adore Your Body Telesummit is about fostering body image positivity through sharing stories about body image struggle, and techniques for changing the way we think about our bodies. Each contributor will reveal their top 3 best practices for staying in an affectionate relationship with the body. That's 33 unique tips!

Erica Mather

Erica Mather, M.A. HHC, E-RYT, author, speaker, yoga professional, is the creator of the Adore Your Body Signature System for body image positivity, and the Yoga Clinic NYC, a hub for medical practitioners and injured clients to connect with the best structural-functional yoga healers in New York City. In 2009 she was selected by her teacher, Ana Forrest, to become a "Guardian"--a senior teacher who mentors and coaches other teachers in the Forrest Yoga lineage. In this role, she takes students and teachers through transformational experiences over the course of a weekend, or a year. She is an active member of the Yoga & Body Image Coalition. Erica holds an M.A. from Columbia University and degrees in Music Theory and Music Education from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She is a lifelong teacher, and a student of learning and teaching.
